Our Story
Grace Foundation was built on one unshakeable conviction — that every woman, regardless of her past, carries the capacity to heal, grow, and reclaim a life she loves.
How It Began
Grace Foundation Drug Treatment and Rehabilitation Center is a dedicated women-focused rehabilitation facility established in 2071 B.S. (2014/2015 A.D.) in Nepal. Founded with a vision of restoring hope, dignity, and purpose to women struggling with drug and alcohol dependency, Grace Foundation provides a safe, compassionate, and supportive environment where women can begin their journey toward recovery and a healthier future.
For more than a decade, Grace Foundation has been committed to helping women overcome substance use disorders through professional care, counseling, rehabilitation, and empowerment programs. We recognize that every woman's recovery journey is unique, and we provide personalized treatment plans that address the physical, emotional, psychological, and social aspects of addiction.
Grace Foundation opened its doors with four staff members and a rented house. Today, it is a full residential and outpatient centre serving women across California and beyond — guided by the same promise made at that kitchen table.
To empower women affected by drug and alcohol addiction through comprehensive treatment, rehabilitation, counseling, and reintegration services that promote lasting recovery and improved quality of life.
To create a society where women can live free from addiction, achieve their full potential, and contribute positively to their families and communities.
"I wanted to build the place I had needed. A space that didn't just treat the symptom — but honoured the whole, complicated, beautiful woman behind it." — Dr. Miriam Osei-Bonsu, Founder

Our Approach
Most rehabilitation models address one dimension of a person's struggle. We address all of them — simultaneously and in relationship to one another.
EMDR, somatic experiencing, and narrative therapy guided by licensed trauma specialists.
Yoga, meditation, nutritional coaching, art and music therapy — healing the nervous system from the inside out.
Facilitated group circles, alumni mentors, and ongoing community — because belonging is part of the cure.
Practical skills, vocational guidance, and safety planning for sustainable life after treatment.
